Positive: The location was amazing, very near the Jardin du Luxembourg. The apartment has 3 floors, which provides very nice space. Getting into the apartment upon arrival was easy as instructions were provided in a video. Overall a very nice experience.
Negative: While the host, Laurine was very helpful at times, she was a bit snippety after we arrived and asked about a crib for our 2 year old grandson. We had asked for it in our original reservation but then we got into a debate since we call a 2 year old a child will she argued we didn't say we were bringing a "baby". After several back and forth she did finally tell me there was crib in the closet. It just felt uncomfortable. I think this was somehow a result of cultural differences in what you call a 2 year old. Only other negative experience was the internet went out halfway through our stay and was only repaired after we left.
Summary: Overall a very comfortable, well located apartment.

Positive: We loved the proximity to the Luxembourg Gardens. The amenities were so helpful when traveling with kids. We could cook a great meal on an evening when we didn't want to go out. We highly recommend for families.

Negative: Overall the apartment's built is not on par with the per night/cost Kitchen / dining room area smells musty, musty smells dwells also a little bit around ground floor The staircase going to kitchen has no ramp, this is dangerous for everyone, children, elderly but regular adults too as this is narrow and floor is slippery General furniture is Ikea-like. Built of bathrooms is cheap - in one shower, parts of the door fell down when we opened it, the soap holder made of glass (fully transparent, one could cut oneself, poor choice) is bending so much that it will fall soon enough Living room is composed of a single sofa, no chairs. It can sit 3 people only.

Positive: A lovely house (and it is a whole house!) which is curiously situated in the inside courtyard of a large apartment block. It has a small garden. The best thing about this house is its location - you are very close to the Jardins de Luxembourg (3 minute walk) and close to metro stations: basically you are well placed for everything and anything you would want to see. The facilities are good: a lovely basement kitchen which is well equipped; 3 good sized double bedrooms; a nice ground floor sitting room (with giant retractable screen to watch TV/films). It would be a really excellent place to stay for a family with teens/young adults or for a group of friends. We found it to be a great location from which to explore. The host was pleasant and - apart from a delay at the beginning - was easily contactable and she left us a nice bottle of red on arrival which was a lovely touch.
Negative: Be warned that the metro line runs directly under the house, which meant that we were woken at 5:30 when the metros started to run. You can hear and feel them running underneath you. We did manage to get back to sleep after they started, but you would be well advised to take ear plugs/something to listen to. After a while, the regular rumbling didn't trouble us but it is something to be aware of. The other thing that we didn't like was the fact that the bottom bedroom has a large frosted window with no curtains/blinds/shutters, which means that in the summer months the light gets in and also disturbs sleep. Overall, neither of these things need dissuade you from booking the house since in so many other ways it is great, but I would certainly recommend an eye mask and ear plugs, especially for the bottom bedroom. It's also a bit of a shame that the garden of the house is completely overgrown, otherwise it would be a lovely place to sit out when it is warm.

Positive: The property was excellent and a great location for Notre Dame, the Louvre, d’Orsay and the catacombs plus it is across the street from the Luxembourg gardens. Perfect for 6 people including 2 small kids. There are stairs but the kids stayed safe. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable too.
